These updates are towards ensuring greater customer satisfaction, first for you as our customers, and for the customers of your business. Here is a quick run-through of the updates.
Know Your Customer (KYC)
We released National Identity, and Driver's License verification APIs to enable you to conduct KYC on your customers more effectively, while ensuring that you don't lose a single sale from customers who may not be comfortable with other identity verification methods, such as BVN.
The National Identity and Driver's License verifications return important details of the customer, such as their date of birth, passport photograph, and more.
Collections
You can now include a callback URL when you create a Single-Use VBA or Payment by USSD account and have the payment notification sent to that specific URL.
This will enable you to automatically give value, to your consumers when they place their order and successfully make payments via bank transfer.
This means that there wouldn't be any need to prompt them to manually click on a "Verify Payment" button or link when they make payments.
From now on, you will be notified via a callback URL that you specify in your initial request to our API when they make payments and process their order "behind the scenes". Seamless!
