6 Things You Probably Didn’t Know About Redbiller

One of the primary school experiences we all have in common is writing an "About yourself" essay. We wrote this essay almost every term and in every class. If you could get a hold of some of the essays you wrote back then, you would realise each essay has a different version of yourself. And the reason for this variation is Change. Change is said to be the only constant thing in life.

Well, you can consider this Redbiller's "About yourself" essay. Today, I will be gisting you a little about Redbiller, especially six things you probably didn’t know about us. Let’s go!

1. Redbiller is both a company and a product.

Redbiller Technologies Limited is the name of the company, and we currently have three products which are:

a. Redbiller -a payment infrastructure for everyday local payments

b. Workforce - a collaborative platform for businesses to manage and scale operations. It is an extension of Redbiller.

c. Waverlite - a digital global payment wallet for instant international payment in over 40 countries.

2. Redbiller is present in 6 countries

Redbiller is currently in Nigeria, Canada, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya and the UK. Yes, you read that right; we are a global company. If you are expanding or are already present in any of these countries, Redbiller is there to serve you. And more countries are joining the list soon.

3. We are the coolest team in the world

We are a team of young professionals, but beyond that, we are a team of young friends. Friendship is one of our core values. And you can see it in how we interact with ourselves and our customers. If you ever get to spend a day with us, you will probably apply to work with us the next day. Every day is a good day at Redbiller.

4. We were formerly known as Jochebed

Redbiller formerly went by Jochebed Apps Limited but rebranded to Redbiller Technologies Limited in May 2021. The change was primarily because of the difficulty in pronouncing 'Jochebed'. The company was renamed after one of our earliest products, Redbiller.

5. We have been around since 2018

The company was founded in January 2018, which means we have been helping individuals and businesses scale for five years and counting. Our founders, Jerah and Dan, go way back to their days of working together at a Software development company. Since then, they have shared the vision of building sustainable financial solutions for individuals and businesses.

6. We started as a Software development company

The story of our transition into payment solutions is short, but I won’t be telling it today (watch out). Redbiller started as a software development company hence the name Jochebed Apps Limited.

In closing...

One thing that has remained constant for us through the years is growth. You can change but not necessarily grow. Our mantra is 'It doesn’t end here'. And for us, it is a continuous reminder that we can do better. However, the best part of our growth is you, our dear customers. We won't be Redbiller without you. Thank you for choosing Redbiller.
